Goondiwindi Regional Council, Care Goondiwindi and United Way Australia have united to bring Dolly Parton's Imagination Library early literacy intervention to children in the Goondiwindi Local Government Area.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library puts books into the hands and hearts of children across the world - and it's now right here in the Goondiwindi Region! Any child born from 1 March 2022 currently residing in the Goondiwindi Local Government Area is eligible to join.
In partnership with our local Council libraries in Goondiwindi, Inglewood and Texas, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library will provide a hand-selected, age-appropriate, high-quality book each month to registered children (from birth to age five).
The Imagination Library means that all Goondiwindi Region children can have a great selection of books at home to support the great selection on offer in our libraries and support their reading at home.

Connecting with one another has never been more important. For the first time we are celebrating Seniors Month, 1- 31 October, with the theme Social Connections.
During the month people of all ages, cultures, and abilities will connect through inclusive events and activities, celebrating the important and essential roles older people play in our communities.
Some of our friends have been generous enough to read some stories for you to watch and enjoy. We will be uploading 2 stories each week in October.
