Council would like to advise as part of the water main upgrade works in Broadway Street and Lennon Street, Texas, your property will experience a temporary water interruption between 9:00am and 4:00pm on Wednesday, 18th June 2025.
This interruption to your water supply is necessary for Council Contractors, Yeti Service, to connect the new water supply main to the existing network. Due to the layout of the reticulation network unfortunately this connection work will affect a larger area than just Broadway & Lennon Streets where the new mains have been installed.
Due to the nature of these works, Council recommends that residents store enough water in advance for essential use during the outage. When the water supply is restored, you may also experience possible discolouration and air in your water, simply run your taps for a few minutes to clear the system.
Council is aware of the impact that these works may have and will endeavour to minimise any disruptions and get the water back on as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience during this period.
