Sewer Manhole Works

Goondiwindi Regional Council will be undertaking sewer manhole location, condition assessment and maintenance work across the region.
These works will be undertaken in Goondiwindi, Inglewood, Texas and Yelarbon, commencing on Monday 29th June 2026.
The program is expected to take approximately 10 – 12 weeks, weather permitting.

Interruption to Goondiwindi Town Water Supply

Goondiwindi Regional Council advises as part of the construction of the new roundabout at the intersection of Marshall Street and Moffatt Street, Goondiwindi, some properties will experience a temporary interruption to the town water supply between 9:00am and 3:00pm on Wednesday, 24th June 2026.

Goondiwindi Regional Council advises that works to upgrade Goondiwindi Sewerage Pump Station 1 (SPS1) located in Pratten St Goondiwindi, and the associated rising main pipeline to Brisbane Street, is scheduled to commence on Monday the 22nd of June 2026 and is expected to take approximately 6 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Pest Control Spraying - Sewer Manholes & Pump Stations

Goondiwindi Regional Council will be undertaking pest control spraying of sewer manholes and pump stations, starting in Goondiwindi on Tuesday 23 June 2026.

Works will then progress to Inglewood, Texas, Yelarbon and Talwood.

The program is expected to take approximately 6–8 weeks, weather permitting.

UPDATE 1: 23/1/2026 - This project has been delayed, and work is now scheduled to begin after ANZAC Day.

Council wishes to advise that works are due to commence on the construction of a new roundabout at the Marshall and Moffatt Streets intersection.
