Community Grants & Donations
Council has available financial assistance to support community organisations that make a positive contribution to the quality of life in the Goondiwindi Regional Council area.
Council's Community Grants Policy(PDF, 215KB) underpins the allocation of donations and grants.
Funding will be provided on a ‘project’ or ‘program’ basis. All applications will be assessed against eligibility and selection criteria. Funding is limited by Council’s annual budget allocation. No applicant can be guaranteed funding nor can any applicant be guaranteed to receive the full amount requested.
Community Grants Program
Organisations seeking funding of $501 or more are required to provide Council with detailed information regarding the proposed use of the funds and how this use would benefit the community.
There are three funding rounds available each financial year for your application to be assessed. Applications received within each round will be assessed and notified of their outcome within eight weeks of round closure.
- Round 1 - closes 31 July
- Round 2 - closes 31 October
- Round 3 - closes 31 March

Community Donations Program
Applications may be made at any time throughout the year, however completed application forms must be lodged a minimum of 30 days prior to the activity/ event.
Donations will only be given up to and including $500.
