Asphalt Rejuvination Program

In order to maintain Council’s road network, Council advises that the 2025/26 Asphalt Rejuvenation Program in Goondiwindi will be undertaken by Council’s Contractor, Austek Roads from Tuesday, 2 June 2026:

• Streets: Frideswide Street (from Paul Bradley Dr to Marshall St), Everingham Drive, Serpentine Drive, & Boyle Street.
• Works Period: Due to commence Tuesday 2 June 2026. It is anticipated that the full extent of the works within town will be completed by Friday, 5 June 2026 (subject to weather and preceding works).
• Working Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm.

To help us complete the work smoothly, we ask that:           

• All vehicles are parked off the roadway during the work.
• Vehicles in driveways or on the nature strip are positioned at least 2 meters from the edge of the gutter.
• Sprinkler systems are adjusted to prevent water from spraying onto the road surface.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and will assist in avoiding delay.
