Footpath Upgrade Works - Callandoon and Herbert Streets

Council would like to advise that works are scheduled to commence on the upgrade of sections of footpath in Herbert and Callandoon Streets from Monday, 14 July 2025 for a period of approximately six (6) weeks, subject to preceding works and weather conditions. These footpath upgrades will occur along the eastern and northern sides of Coles’ carpark facing Herbert and Callandoon Streets (refer to image below)

Vehicular access to Coles’ carpark will remain open from both streets at all times, however, during this period, there will be some disruptions to on-street parking and potentially some pedestrian access. Council intends to program the upgrade works in two (2) stages, for a period of approximately three (3) weeks each, to minimise these disruptions where practical.  To assist with these works, the supervisor on site may request that vehicles be parked outside the construction area. Please follow any directions or instructions given to you by Council staff or Contractors while works are underway.
