Interruption to Goondiwindi Town Water Supply

Published on 19 June 2026

Goondiwindi Regional Council advises as part of the construction of the new roundabout at the intersection of Marshall Street and Moffatt Street, Goondiwindi, some properties will experience a temporary interruption to the town water supply between 9:00am and 3:00pm on Wednesday, 24th June 2026.

This interruption is required to enable the connection of the replacement water main under the new roundabout site to the existing water supply network.

Residents are encouraged to store sufficient water prior to the outage for essential use during the outage period.

Due to the nature of these works when the water supply is restored, you may also experience possible discolouration and air in your water, simply run your taps for a few minutes to clear the system.

Council is aware of the impact that these works may have and will endeavour to minimise any disruptions and get the water back on as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience during this period.
