Council advises that the 2025/26 Bitumen Reseal Program at Goondiwindi will be undertaken by Council’s Contractor, RPQ Spray Seal commencing Thursday 12 February 2026 between 7:00am and 5:00pm at the following locations, subject to weather and progress of preceding works:
To assist with these works, you are requested not to park vehicles on the street during this period and to follow any directions or instructions given to you by Council and Contractor staff, particularly Traffic Controllers, until these works are completed. Disruptions to traffic conditions will involve the closure of affected streets to all traffic during the resealing operations. Delays of up to 15 minutes can be expected.

For approximately one week after the resealing is complete, motorists can expect small amounts of loose stones on the surface, it is advised to drive cautiously during this period, and obey all aftercare signage including temporary speed restrictions. We recommend you avoid driving on concrete driveways and parking in garages 3-4 days after the reseal as this will result in temporary short-term staining. This staining will slowly fade after a few weeks if trafficking any driveways/points of access is unavoidable. We appreciate your cooperation and patience while works are proceeding.
