Council would like to advise that works are scheduled to commence on the replacement of sections of kerb and channel in Charles Avenue, from Thursday the 9th of October 2025.
The kerb and channel replacement program in Charles Avenue comprises of four (4) stages. The table below shows the sections and approximate dates for each stage. Please note that these dates are estimations only and subject to change due to weather conditions and other competing essential works priorities. Staff on site will update you of any major deviations from this program.

From the 13th of October 2025 onwards, there will be some disruptions to parking and property access. Staff will try and limit these disruptions to the specific stage being worked on at that time. To assist with these works, Council requests that residents in the stage being worked on remove their vehicles from their property before 7:00am each day and continue to park outside the construction area during the days. Access to your property will be restored by 5:00pm each afternoon
Please follow any directions or instructions given to you by Council staff or Contractors while works are underway.
