Water Supply - Infrastructure vs Consumption Charges:
To cover costs associated with supplying water to your property Council applies two charges - an infrastructure charge and a consumption charge.
An infrastructure charge is for the pipes, pumps and other infrastructure that is used to supply the water to your property.
Consumption charges are based on the amount of water your property uses.
