Recycling calendar released for Goondiwindi region

A new online recycling calendar is now available for Goondiwindi region residents to help them remember when their recycling bins are collected.

Residents are encouraged to download the calendar from Goondiwindi Regional Council’s website as a reminder of when their area is serviced by kerbside recycling.

Kerbside recycling was introduced to the Goondiwindi region in July 2018. In the twelve months since its introduction, residents in the Goondiwindi region have already saved more than 352 tons of waste from going to landfill.

“We have one of the lowest contamination rates which makes recycling in our region all the more viable,” Mayor Graeme Scheu explained.

Residents will be able to print out the high-resolution PDF to put on the fridge as a reminder. Don’t have access to a printer? Simply pop in to any of Council's Customer Service Centres and we can print one for you.
