Inglewood Pfizer Clinic now open to all over 16, Texas Clinic new phone number

Goondiwindi Regional Council Mayor, the Honourable Cr Lawrence Springborg AM, thanks the community for their overwhelming support in accessing the Pfizer Clinic, and advises of changes to the Inglewood and Texas Pfizer clinics.

“With the announcement today that the New South Wales lockdown has been extended through to 28 August, it is obvious that the border restrictions are here for at least a few more weeks and the vaccinations are critical for our community and economy,” he said.

Change to the Pfizer Clinics are as follows:

Inglewood (Pfizer-only) – effective immediately

  • NEW TIME: Friday 20 August, 8 am – 12 pm
  • Thursday 19 August, 1 pm ⁠– 5 pm;
  • NEW: All over 16s welcome
  • NEW: All over 16 Queensland residents can just walk-in
  • Inglewood Sports Centre (MacIntyre Sports Complex), Chilcott St, Inglewood

Texas (Pfizer-only)

  • Thursday 19 August – Friday 20 August, 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
  • Texas Memorial Hall, 50 High St, Texas
  • Open to ages 16+
  • QLD residents: Walk-in only
  • NEW NUMBER: NSW Border Zone resident bookings available on 13 42 68.  However, it is strongly recommend you consider the Inglewood Clinic.

“It has been an exceptional response to the Texas Pfizer Clinic [today 19 Aug and Friday 20 Aug].  Darling Downs Health are now encouraging people to consider the Inglewood Pfizer Clinic as an alternate. I really appreciate people’s patience, with the large numbers trying to quickly access the vaccine.  I also want to thank Darling Downs Health for being so quick to adjust their clinic criteria to meet the community’s needs,” said the Mayor.

Reminder to New South Wales Border Zone Residents

New South Wales (NSW) Border Zone residents may enter Queensland to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, provided they have not been in a COVID-19 hotspot outside the Border Zone.

NSW Border Zone residents will need to ensure they have their Queensland Border Declaration Pass - Border Zone Travel (X Pass) to enter Queensland to receive their vaccine.
